Whether it is emotional pain, physical pain or both, I am here to be of help. It may be a child with explosive behavior or one who has issues associated with having been adopted, or a depressed adolescent, an adult challenged by anxiety, or someone who is suffering from a chronic medical condition, I have over 30 years of experience treating children, adolescents, and adults faced with a wide range of issues and concerns.

In addition to my private practice, I serve on the faculty of the St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute and as Director of Clinical Training for the Schiele Clinic Practicum Program. My role as Director of Clinical Training involves overseeing the training of graduate student trainees enrolled in the Schiele Clinic Practicum Program. I have also served on the Continuing Education Committee and as Director of the former Psychoanalytic Studies in Adoption and Foster Care Program at the St. Louis Psychoanalytic Institute. I also teach in the Psychoanalytic Training Program, the Advanced Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Program and previously taught in the Child Development Program and the Child and Adolescent Psychodynamic Psychotherapy Program. Prior to going into private practice I held positions in hospital based chronic pain programs at St. Louis University Hospital and Deaconess Hospital.
